Why We’re Updating the Proposition (and What It Means for You)

Hey, it’s Kim here.

A few months ago, we switched to a new model. At the time, the idea was simple: give you as much freedom as possible to explore our content, see what works for you, and hopefully help you build the kind of habits that actually stick.

Since then, we’ve been looking closely at the data (and listening to your feedback). And here’s what it showed us:

The brilliant bit? You’ve been exploring like never before. So many of you have dipped into new sessions you might not have tried otherwise, and that’s exactly what we wanted -  discovery, variety, and those little sparks of “oh, this really helps.”

But… here’s what wasn’t working. The model was a little too generous. Which sounds like a funny thing to admit, but it’s true. We ended up in a place where it wasn’t quite working for anyone:

  • you were getting loads of access (great in theory, but not always building deeper change),

  • therapists weren’t being paid fairly for the work they put in,

  • and long term, it just wasn’t sustainable for Clementine either.

So we’ve made some tweaks. The goal is to balance things better, so it’s a win for you, a win for therapists, and a win for Clementine.

Here’s what that looks like now:

  • One free listen every month. On the 1st, your free listen resets. That way, you can always try something new. You have one ready for you now. You’ll see this on your home screen.

  • Rent a session (£2.99). If you want to test something without fully committing, this is your low-cost way in. And therapists get paid for these too.

  • Buy a session (£5.99–£14.99). Like adding a track to your favourite playlist - once you buy it, it’s yours to revisit whenever you need it.

  • Bundles. If you know you want a toolkit, bundles make it better value.

And one more thing, we’re working on courses. Proper deep dives into the topics you’ve told us you care most about: skin, hormones, menopause, weight. These are coming soon, and I’m excited for them.

I know change can sometimes feel uncomfortable, but I really believe this is a healthier model for all of us. You still get space to explore, you get to keep what you love, our amazing therapists get rewarded fairly, and Clementine can keep growing.

Please do get in touch with me directly if you have any feedback, concerns, questions. We genuinely do listen.

Thanks, as always, for being on this journey with us.

Kim 💛
